When I was very little, Brian made sure I knew all the books of the Bible. I impressed my Sunday School teachers by reciting the Books confidently and quickly. He taught me which books form the Pentateuch and how many there are beginning with the letter J.  With Brian, I read parts of the Bible that you didn't usually read in Sunday School.  Manasseh (Kings II ch 21) was a favourite. I read it to my Teddy Bear. I loved the sound of the words, rhythm and language. 

When Biblical things crop up in quizzes, which they rarely do, I am always glad that I learned them.
